Happy National Ding-a-Ling Day!

It is friday, December 12, 2008.  As you all wake up and crawl out of bed this morning I am sure you won't forget just what a special day today is.  National Ding-a-Ling Day comes but once a year, so make sure you make the most of it!

Whats that?  You haven't heard of it before?  You think I'm making it up just to give you something to talk about around the office water cooler or maybe just to get some long overdue attention to my rapidly developing blogging skills?  Not true my friend.

Why this wonderful festive holiday dates back years, maybe even a couple years!  Soon you will be able to buy a Hallmark card for it to send to your Grandma, it's just that legitimate a holiday!

Tradition says that on this strangest of all days you should be on the lookout for strange happenings.  People have been known to not quite be themselves this day.  Keep a keen eye on your spouse, your children, and your coworkers.  I am sure that several times today you will notice which of them have chosen to celebrate National Ding-a-Ling Day and act like a total ding-a-ling.  Do them a favor and let them know you recognize just what a great ding-a-ling they are being and how much their holiday spirit inspires you.

So in the spirit of the holiday,

Have a happy National Ding-a-Ling Day

Is some one who celebrates ding a ling day a ding bat? If they have kids are they ding brats? Or is asking these questions a sign of ding a ling dementia?

You mean no one even acknowledged the day?

No Happy Ding-a-ling Day card?

No Hppy DAL day TTYL text?

Nothing?

Sad. Truly Sad.
